Raised alert level II on Len River at Len Hydrological Station

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - At 10:00 a.m. on August 26, 2025, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Civil Defense Command issued Official Dispatch No. 27, issuing an alert II on the Len River at the Len Hydrological Station.

According to the flood warning bulletin on Len River No. DBLU-36/09h00/THOA dated August 26, 2025 of Thanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, at 9:00 a.m. on August 26, 2025, the water level on Len River at Len Hydrological Station was +4.55 m (0.55 m above BĐI); the warning of downstream water level on Len River at Len Hydrological Station is likely to reach Alarm Level II (+5.00 m) at 12-13:00 p.m. on August 26, 2025.

The Provincial Civil Defense Command issued a second alert on the Len River at the Len Hydrological Station, requesting the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the communes: Ha Trung, Ha Long, Tong Son, Hoat Giang, Linh Toai, Trieu Loc, Dong Thanh, Hoa Loc, Van Loc, Nga Thang, Nga Son, Ba Dinh, Nga An, Tan Tien to immediately deploy dike patrols and dike protection according to the alarm levels.

Organize inspection, review and be ready to deploy plans to ensure the safety of dike works; especially key dike points and culverts across dikes in the area.

Proactively implement evacuation plans for people living in riverbank areas.

Organize a 24/7 duty team, closely monitor the development of rain and floods to be ready to handle situations from the first hour; promptly inform and report to the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Control Command Office and the Standing Office of the Provincial Civil Defense Command.
