Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security , in order to ensure that citizen information in the National Population Database is complete and accurate when arranging and merging administrative boundaries at the provincial and communal levels (not reorganizing administrative boundaries at the district level), the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order - Ministry of Public Security will temporarily suspend the National Population Database system to update the software and switch to using population software according to the new administrative boundaries (2 levels).
The suspension period starts from June 27, 2025. During this time, the system will not be able to exploit population data to serve the settlement of administrative procedures in the field of citizen identification.
On that basis, Long An Provincial Police announced the temporary suspension of receiving and handling administrative procedures related to citizen identification at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center from June 27, 2025 until further notice.
The provincial police recommend that people proactively grasp information and adjust their administrative procedure schedules accordingly to avoid affecting personal needs and work./.
