Department of Finance proposes 2 economic growth scenarios

According to information from the Department of Finance, the unit proactively drafted a document to adjust the economic growth scenario (GRDP) for the remaining quarters to achieve the target of Resolution No. 25/NQ-CP of the Government and strive for double-digit growth in 2025.

The Department of Finance has submitted to the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province the Action Program to implement the socio-economic development plan for 2025; Decision to assign socio-economic targets for 2025.

Proposing 2 economic growth scenarios

In addition, the Department of Staff of the Provincial People's Committee issued many documents directing the promotion of GRDP growth rate in 2025 to strive for a double-digit growth rate, creating a solid foundation for Tay Ninh province (new) and the whole country to enter a new era, an era of national growth and prosperity.

With timely solutions, the province's GRDP growth rate is estimated to increase by 9.63%. This is a very positive growth rate, the highest in the first 6 months of the 2021-2025 period; exceeding the target scenario assigned by the Government in Resolution No. 25 and the province's double-digit growth scenario.

In the remaining months, the Department of Finance will proactively develop a draft document to adjust the GRDP growth scenario to achieve the target of Resolution No. 25/NQ-CP and strive for double-digit growth in 2025.

In which, the Department proposed 2 GRDP growth scenarios: Scenario 1: Growth for the whole year of 2025 is estimated at 9.30% (according to Resolution No. 25), to achieve this growth level, growth in the last 6 months of the year must reach 9% or more. Scenario 2: Growth for the whole year of 2025 strives for double digits (specifically 10.01%), to achieve this growth level, growth in the last 6 months of the year must reach 10.35% or more.

Currently, the content is being consulted with provincial departments and branches; promptly submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for promulgation after the Provincial People's Council issues a Resolution on directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025./.
