On the evening of June 7, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced important milestones after the 10th grade entrance exam. Accordingly, the 10th grade exam marking officially began on June 11 and ended on June 16.
From June 18 to 20: Review and compare test results with computer results. From June 21 to 22: Synchronize test results to the industry database.
From June 23 to 26: Expected to announce exam scores and grade 10 benchmark scores.
In the 2025-2026 school year, 115 public high schools in Ho Chi Minh City will enroll 70,070 students, compared to 76,435 candidates registered for the exam. Although the enrollment quota for grade 10 has increased significantly, it is expected that more than 6,000 candidates will still leave the race for a place in public grade 10. Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that this year's grade 10 entrance exam has decreased by 27,330 students compared to last year.

The Chief of Office of the City Department of Education and Training said that based on the situation reports, the 10th grade exam took place stably and smoothly, the organization was carried out strictly and in accordance with regulations. The authorities have prepared carefully, ensuring all necessary conditions for the successful organization of the exam.
According to Mr. Minh, special attention is paid to the health care of candidates. Although there have been some cases of candidates having health problems, the medical system at the examination sites has operated effectively, providing timely support and handling flexibly, ensuring the rights of candidates.
On the other hand, the handling of situations at the examination councils is carried out seriously but still ensures humanity, prioritizes the interests of candidates, and demonstrates a spirit of both strictness and fairness. Objective incidents regarding facilities and administrative work are resolved promptly and effectively.
