According to information from the Road Maintenance Management Board (Department of Construction): Due to heavy rain lasting from the night of June 30 to the morning of July 1, landslides occurred on Provincial Road 155 ( Lao Cai - Sa Pa), causing soil and rocks to flow down the road at Km12+600, National Highway 4D, Lao Cai - Sa Pa BOT Toll Station area, cutting off traffic.
The landslide not only caused traffic jams but also damaged many items of the Lao Cai - Sa Pa BOT Toll Station.

Speaking to reporters, a representative of the Road Maintenance Management Board (Department of Construction) said: Immediately after the landslide appeared, the unit deployed 3 excavators and human resources to fix it. Because the landslide had a large volume of soil and rock, while it was still raining, it made the repair work difficult. It is expected that the first step of the road will be cleared around 11:30 today.
Below are some pictures at the landslide site.
