The exhibition is designed with a central area and five content zones, representing five different historical periods through the lens of Science and Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation.
The central section serves as an area that introduces the overall theme and ideology throughout the entire exhibition, helping to connect the display sections in a continuous historical flow.
Zone 1: Resistance and nation building period (1945-1954)
This section recreates the role of science and technology, post and telecommunications in the resistance war for national independence as well as the role of science and technology forces in the fields of defense, agriculture, telecommunications and health.
Zone 2: The period of Southern Liberation and National Reunification (1954-1975)
This section affirms the role of Science and Technology and the Post Office in building the socialist North and supporting the Southern battlefield. This was the period when the foundation for Vietnam's first modern science and technology system was formed, with the establishment of important research institutes. The exhibition content reflects the achievements of Science and Technology in agriculture, national defense and communications.
Zone 3: Pre-Renovation period (1975-1986)
In this section, the achievements of science and technology are recorded in the period of national recovery after the war and the construction of socialism, and at the same time, preparing for the reform and innovation of science and technology institutions later. The exhibition will also reflect the development of telecommunications and postal infrastructure such as mechanical switchboards and international mail systems.
Zone 4: Renovation and Integration Period (1986-2025)
This section emphasizes the strong development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the process of innovation and international integration. Typical science and technology products are introduced, including outstanding initiatives in areas such as 5G technology, national satellites and achievements in the medical industry.
Zone 5: New Era (2025 onwards)
Looking to the future, this section presents Vietnam's strategy for developing science and technology, innovation and digital transformation from 2025 to 2045. This is the period of implementing new policies and guidelines in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on developing science and technology and national strategic technologies, including 11 key strategic technology groups.
In parallel with the exhibition, the forum "Future of Science and Technology, Innovation and National Digital Transformation" will take place on the morning of August 29 at VEC, promising to provide an in-depth look at the journey of science and technology development and opportunities in the digital age.
