(DN) - At the working session with the Department of Science and Technology on July 11, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son emphasized that the Department of Science and Technology needs to review, inspect, and verify the exact and specific number of areas with signal gaps in the province; as well as work with telecommunications enterprises in the province to promptly propose appropriate solutions, moving towards completing coverage of all mobile signal gaps in the province.

Mobile broadband signal depression area is an area that does not have mobile broadband signal or has weak, unstable signal and cannot access or use mobile broadband internet service of any existing mobile information network in Vietnam (Viettel, Vinaphone, Mobifone , VietnamMobile, GtelMobile) at the central location of that area (for example, for villages, hamlets, and quarters, the central location is the cultural house of the village, hamlet, and quarter).

Currently, according to preliminary statistics from the Department of Science and Technology, Dong Nai still has about 25 concave wave villages and hamlets (of which, 18 villages and hamlets belong to the old Binh Phuoc province; 7 villages and hamlets belong to the old Dong Nai province).
