On November 22, Phu Tho Town Tax Department coordinated with the Tax Advisory Council of wards and communes to simultaneously deploy QR codes to identify business households and individuals throughout the town. This is one of the key contents of the project "Identifying business locations of taxpayers in Phu Tho Town" issued with Decision No. 2476/QD-UBND dated September 24, 2024 of Phu Tho Town People's Committee.
To ensure 100% completion of QR code pasting for identifying households and individuals doing business at the business locations of taxpayers under tax management in Phu Tho town according to the set plan, Phu Tho town Tax Department has established 9 teams to paste QR codes in 9 wards and communes of the town.
Through a quick summary of the results of the Tax Department, at the end of the first day of operation, the Department has posted more than 900 QR codes identifying business households and individuals.
It is expected that the Tax Department will complete the application of QR identification codes for more than 2,900 households and individuals doing business under tax management in the area by December 15, 2024. At the same time, the Tax Department will continue to apply QR identification codes to taxpayers' business locations for newly arising cases.
Identifying business households and individuals will help state agencies have tools to support searching and grasping information on the tax field of business units, households and individuals; supervise tax management and collection to ensure objectivity, publicity and transparency; improve the quality of tax management, prevent missing households, towards bringing 100% of business households and individuals into tax management; and prevent tax losses.
For taxpayers, it is convenient to self-monitor, cross-check and respond to information to tax authorities on tax management; easily grasp information on new tax policies; contribute to enhancing trust with state management agencies.
For people, pasting QR codes to identify households and individual businesses will help people look up publicly disclosed information according to regulations easily and quickly.
