According to the Agenda of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on Monday morning (June 23), the National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the mechanism for handling difficulties and obstacles due to legal regulations. After that, the National Assembly discussed in groups the draft Law on Judicial Assistance in Civil Matters; the draft Law on Judicial Assistance in Criminal Matters.
In the afternoon, the National Assembly discussed in groups the draft Law on State of Emergency; the draft Law on Transfer of Persons Serving Prison Sentences; and the draft Law on Extradition.
This is also the last working week of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly. It is expected that this week, the National Assembly will vote to pass a number of laws and resolutions.
The laws voted and passed by the National Assembly include: Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Vietnamese Nationality; Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (amended); Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of People's Courts; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of People's Procuracies; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies; Law on Inspection (amended); Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Civil Procedure Code, the Administrative Procedure Law, the Juvenile Justice Law, the Bankruptcy Law and the Law on Mediation and Dialogue at Court.
The National Assembly also voted to pass: Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Penal Code; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations; Law on State Budget (amended); Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Bidding, Law on Investment under the Public-Private Partnership model, Law on Customs, Law on Export Tax and Import Tax, Law on Investment, Law on Public Investment, Law on Management and Use of Public Assets; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Credit Institutions; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Planning; Law on Protection of Personal Data.
In addition, the National Assembly will vote to pass the following laws: Law on Participation in the United Nations Peacekeeping Force; Law on Science, Technology and Innovation; Law on Atomic Energy (amended); Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Criminal Procedure Code; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Law on Trade Unions, the Law on Youth and the Law on Implementing Democracy at Grassroots Level; Law on Railways (amended); Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on National Defense, the Law on People's Army Officers, the Law on Professional Soldiers, Workers and Defense Officials, the Law on Military Service, the Law on Vietnam Border Guard, the Law on People's Air Defense, the Law on Reserve Forces, the Law on Civil Defense, the Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones, the Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces, the Law on National Defense and Security Education.

Resolutions voted and passed by the National Assembly include: Resolution of the National Assembly on the establishment of the National Election Council; Resolution of the National Assembly on the election of the Chairman of the National Election Council; Resolution of the National Assembly approving the list of Vice Chairmen and members of the National Election Council; Resolutions of the National Assembly on other personnel work under its authority.
Along with that are the resolutions: Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting the People's Procuracy to initiate civil lawsuits to protect the civil rights of vulnerable groups or to protect public interests; Resolution of the National Assembly on the mechanism for handling difficulties and obstacles due to legal provisions; Resolution of the National Assembly on the National Assembly's Supervision Program in 2026; Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Internal Regulations of the National Assembly session issued together with Resolution No. 71/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly; Resolution of the National Assembly on exemption from agricultural land use tax;
The National Assembly also voted on the Resolution of the National Assembly on exemption and support of tuition fees for preschool children, general education students, and those studying general education programs at educational institutions in the national education system; the Resolution of the National Assembly on universalizing preschool education for preschool children from 3 to 5 years old; the Resolution of the National Assembly on the implementation of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of People's Courts, the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of People's Procuracies, procedural laws and other relevant laws.
In addition, the National Assembly also voted to pass the following resolutions: Resolution of the National Assembly on the investment policy of the Quy Nhon-Pleiku Expressway Construction Investment Project; Resolution of the National Assembly on the investment policy of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 Construction Investment Project; Resolution of the National Assembly on adjusting the investment policy of the Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway Construction Investment Project, Phase 1; Resolution of the National Assembly on the International Financial Center in Vietnam; Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Hai Phong city; Resolution of the National Assembly on approving the 2023 state budget settlement; Resolution of the National Assembly on questioning activities at the 9th Session, 15th National Assembly; Resolution of the 9th Session, 15th National Assembly.
During the working week, the National Assembly discussed: the draft Law on Judicial Assistance in Civil Matters; the draft Law on Judicial Assistance in Criminal Matters; the draft Law on State of Emergency; the draft Law on Transfer of Persons Serving Prison Sentences; the draft Law on Extradition; and the results of the supervision of the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly./.
