(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of June 26, Ngo Quyen District Party Committee held a conference to review the work tasks for the first 6 months of 2025; summarize the implementation of the Resolution of the 23rd District Party Congress, term 2020-2025. Comrade Le Tri Vu, member of the Standing Committee - Head of the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee attended and directed the conference.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the District Party Committee and Party Committees at all levels have focused on leading and directing many solutions to deploy and comprehensively implement political tasks and socio-economic development, achieving many important results. Proactively implementing tasks of arranging administrative units and organizing a 2-level local government model; urgently preparing conditions to end district-level activities, putting the political system of Ngo Quyen and Gia Vien wards into operation from July 1, 2025.

The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system continues to be promoted, closely following the grassroots. Successfully directing 100% of Party Congresses and grassroots Party cells for the 2025-2030 term in accordance with regulations; ensuring compliance with requirements and exceeding the set schedule.

Comrade Chu Thanh Luong, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen District spoke at the Conference.

Organizing research, dissemination, propaganda and implementation of Party directives seriously, promptly and effectively; publishing and distributing the book History of Ngo Quyen District Party Committee (1930 - 2025). The target of admitting new Party members reached 254/271, equal to 93.7% of the year's target, establishing 5/4 Party organizations, equal to 125% of the year's target.

Economic and budgetary indicators closely followed the estimate; state budget revenue in the area reached 54% of the estimate, equal to 197.9% of the same period; non-state tax revenue reached 56.43%, equal to 114.3% of the same period. Focus on implementing administrative reform, digital transformation associated with the development of digital government, digital economy, digital society. Fully and promptly implement social security work, there are no more near-poor households in the area; organize cultural and sports activities enthusiastically. National defense and security are ensured, social order and safety are maintained, completing 100% of military recruitment targets.

Comrade Trinh Quang Truong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ngo Quyen District spoke at the Conference.

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the District Party Committee will focus on proactively researching to guide and resolve difficulties, obstacles, recommendations, and proposals from the practices of localities and units to ensure unified, continuous, smooth, uninterrupted and effective operations. Organize the ceremony to announce and hand over decisions on the establishment of the Ward Party Committee (new) and decisions on personnel work (according to the direction of the city). Strengthen inspection and supervision of Party committees at all levels, localities, agencies and units in implementing resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee, the Politburo , the Secretariat, and directions of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee on the arrangement of the apparatus and administrative units, ensuring progress and requirements.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, Ngo Quyen District Party Committee has completed 16/16 targets of the Congress Resolution, of which 05 targets were outstandingly completed. Correctly selecting key issues and weak points to focus on leadership and direction; issuing 03 thematic resolutions and many conclusions and directives to create positive changes in various fields; implementing many good models, creative and highly applicable methods to contribute to building a clean and strong Party and political system.

Speaking at the Conference, the Head of the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee acknowledged that the District Party Committee and the District Party Committees have focused on leading, directing and implementing the tasks of arranging administrative units and organizing the 2-level local government model. At the same time, he requested the Ngo Quyen District Party Committee to continue to focus on political and ideological work, creating unity in the awareness and actions of cadres, party members and people when implementing the organization of the 2-level local government model. Arrange the working headquarters of 02 new wards; hand over assets and equipment to relevant agencies and units. Arrange and compile records and documents before the end of the activity to ensure strict management and handover in accordance with regulations.
