Ensuring absolute safety, creating the best conditions for candidates to take the 2025 High School Graduation Exam

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of June 26, comrade Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong inspected and encouraged the organization of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam at a number of testing sites in the city. Accompanying him were comrade Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Hai Phong City; representatives of leaders of Departments, branches, and localities who are members of the City's Steering Committee for the exam.

In 2025, Hai Phong city has a total of 29,227 candidates from 14 districts participating in the High School Graduation Exam. Of which, 28,910 candidates will take the exam under the 2018 GeneralEducation Program, including 25,902 12th graders, 2,804 candidates from the Continuing Education system and 204 independent candidates. In addition, 317 candidates will take the exam under the 2006 General Education Program, including 293 candidates who have graduated and 24 candidates who have not graduated. Examination Council No. 03 is chaired by the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training, with a total of 49 exam sites across the city, including 48 exam sites for the 2018 General Education Program and 1 exam site for the 2006 Program.

The Secretary of the City Party Committee is concerned about the conditions to ensure the health of candidates and officials on duty during the exam.

For candidates taking the exam according to the 2018 General Education Program, they will take 4 subjects with 2 compulsory subjects (Math, Literature) and 2 elective subjects from the subjects in the high school program (9 subjects), including: Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology. Candidates taking the exam according to the 2006 General Education Program, they will take 3 independent exams (Math, Literature, Foreign Language) and a combined exam (Social Sciences or Natural Sciences).

The Secretary of the City Party Committee encouraged the forces to perform their duties during the Exam.

At all examination sites in Hai Phong city, coordination between functional forces such as police, health , youth volunteers and local authorities was carried out closely and seriously. All examination sites were reasonably divided into traffic routes, ensuring security and order, creating maximum convenience for candidates and parents during the pick-up and drop-off process, contributing to the organization of a safe, serious and effective examination.

The Secretary of the City Party Committee emphasized creating the most favorable conditions for candidates throughout the exam.

After inspecting the site and listening to reports from relevant units, Comrade Le Tien Chau, Secretary of the City Party Committee, acknowledged the thorough, proactive and serious preparation of the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. He requested the Steering Committee, together with the Departments, branches and localities, to continue to focus on organizing the Exam, paying special attention to ensuring absolute safety and confidentiality of exam papers; fully preparing conditions for health, food hygiene and safety, security and order, etc. At the same time, it is important not to be subjective in the face of unusual developments in hot weather or arising situations, in order to create the most favorable conditions for candidates throughout the Exam./.
