This morning, the Russian, Lao and Cambodian military delegations participating in the A80 parade visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and viewed weapons and equipment of the Vietnam People's Army displayed at the National Achievements Exhibition (Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi).

On the morning of August 31, military delegations from the Russian Armed Forces, the Lao People's Army and the Royal Cambodian Army visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. The delegation then moved to the National Achievements Exhibition to visit the military equipment at the Ministry of National Defense 's outdoor display area.

The Russian military delegation participating in the parade and marching at the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 (event A80) included 33 soldiers. The delegation arrived at Noi Bai airport ( Hanoi ) at noon on August 20. Lieutenant Mikhailov Anton Vladimirovich, the head of the block, was the one who had the honor of standing in the Flag Group participating in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War (May 9, 1945 - May 9, 2025) at Red Square in Moscow (Russia), where the Vietnam People's Army delegation participated for the first time.

These are soldiers of the 154th Commandant's Regiment Preobrazhensky, a special unit whose history is closely linked to the legendary Preobrazhensky Regiment, a symbol of the glory and honor of the Russian army. The regiment performs ceremonial duties, organizes honor guards to welcome heads of state and participates in major parades during important national events.

Meanwhile, the Lao People's Army delegation arrived in Vietnam on August 16 through Cau Treo International Border Gate (Ha Tinh province) and moved to Hanoi. The delegation consisted of 120 soldiers, including 20 soldiers who participated in the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, and 49 soldiers from the bloc who participated in the parade at Red Square.

The Royal Cambodian Army delegation of 120 soldiers arrived in Vietnam on August 15 through Moc Bai International Border Gate (Tay Ninh Province), then moved to Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) to move to Hanoi.

Along with the participation of the Lao People's Army delegation, the presence of the Royal Cambodian Army delegation at this year's celebration has profound significance, demonstrating Vietnam's appreciation for the special solidarity and loyal fighting alliance between the three Indochinese countries in the cause of fighting against the common enemy, gaining independence and building the Fatherland of each country.
