Hanoi coffee shop is bright with red flags and yellow stars to celebrate the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2nd.
For many days now, a coffee shop in Duong Noi urban area (Ha Dong ward, Hanoi) has attracted the attention of customers and passersby because it has created a space reminiscent of the historic September 2, 1945.
The entrance area impresses with many red flags with yellow stars of various sizes and two billboards printed with images of President Ho Chi Minh and excerpts from the Declaration of Independence, which gave birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam 80 years ago.
A unique corner inside the restaurant is decorated as an "Independence booth", with many paintings simulating the old propaganda movement.
Old items and souvenirs such as telephones, thermoses, steam irons... are painstakingly collected and displayed by the owner, creating a nostalgic space.
Ms. Nguyen Bao Ngan, the owner of the restaurant, said that after more than 3 years of operation, this is the first time the restaurant has invested on a large scale in such a solemnly decorated space. The preparation process lasted nearly 2 months, from finding materials to developing ideas. " Researching and agreeing on the design took the most time, all the spaces and corners were done by the restaurant itself without hiring outside workers, the construction took about 2 days ."
The radio corner recalls the moment when the whole country listened to Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence and this historic event was also broadcast live to millions of people.

"Not only do we want to impress customers with our special decorations, but we also want to remind young people to never forget the sacred, historical moments of the nation. The whole country is waiting for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. We also want to join in and contribute to spreading this atmosphere to everyone, especially young people," Ms. Ngan expressed.

Red flags with yellow stars are hung everywhere, creating a highlight for the space of the restaurant.
Every small detail is carefully edited by staff to perfect the space.
The drinks are also beautifully decorated with images of the national flag. " The price for each drink is from 40,000 - 60,000 VND/cup. We also do not charge any additional fees if customers want to take souvenir photos ," said an employee.
Many young people shared that when they entered the shop and saw this decoration, they felt proud of the historical moments of the nation and looked forward to the upcoming 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
Children were also brought by their parents to take souvenir photos.
The cafe owner said this special decoration will be kept until the end of September so that more customers have the opportunity to experience it.
