VHO - The Vietnamese and Thai women's volleyball teams are off to a very good start in the first round of the Southeast Asian Women's Volleyball Tournament - SEA V.League 2025.

On the afternoon of August 2nd in Ratchasima (Thailand), the second round of the first round of SEA V.League 2025 took place with 2 matches: Vietnam - Philippines and Thailand - Indonesia.

Vietnam women's team has convincing victory

In the first match, the Vietnamese women's team used their strongest lineup when welcoming the return of setter Bich Tuyen alongside main attacker Nguyen Thi Uyen, along with the main players who played in the match against Indonesia, Thanh Thuy, Lam Oanh, Bich Thuy and Khanh Dang.

With the best force, the Vietnamese girls did not have much difficulty winning 25-13 in set 1 and 25-21 in set 2.

Although the Vietnamese girls lost 23-25 in set 3, they came back strongly with a 25-9 win in set 4, completing a 3-1 victory.

This is the second consecutive victory for coach Tran Tuan Kiet and his team, previously they won 3-0 against Indonesia in the opening match on August 1.

In the following match, the defending champions Thailand asserted their strength when they won 3-0 (22-25, 25-15, 27-25, 25-12) against Indonesia.

Thai girls continue to have a difficult match

This is also the second consecutive victory of the number 1 team in Southeast Asia, before that they won 3-1 against the Philippines in the opening match.

With both winning 2 matches, Vietnam and Thailand share the top 2 positions.

On the afternoon of August 3, the Vietnamese and Thai girls will meet in the final round to find the champion of stage 1.

Vietnam – Indonesia: 3-0 (25-11, 25-11, 25-22)

Thailand – Philippines: 3-1 (17-25, 26-24, 25-20, 25-20)

August 2:

Vietnam – Philippines: 3-1 (25-13, 25-21, 23-25, 25-9)

Thailand – Indonesia: 3-1 (22-25, 25-15, 27-25, 25-12)

August 3:

Indonesia – Philippines
