After Dong Nai refused to accept a promotion to the V-League, the third-placed team in the first division last season, PVF-CAND, became the team to replace Quang Nam Club in the V-League.
The 2025-2026 National Football Championship will therefore have 14 participating teams, instead of only 13 teams as some people had feared, after Quang Nam Club failed to qualify for the tournament.
PVF-CAND will use the PVF Sports Center Stadium in Hung Yen as their home stadium in the 2025-2026 season. The deadline for PVF-CAND to submit a list of players to compete in the V-League is August 7.
PVF-CAND is a team with many young players with potential. The presence of this team in V-League promises to bring a new breeze to the tournament.
