In the atmosphere of preparation for the new school year 2025 - 2026, Khai Xuan Primary School (Dong Thanh commune, Phu Tho province) has been completing all conditions to welcome students back to school in a joyful, excited and safe atmosphere.

Talking to GD&TĐ Newspaper, Ms. To Bich Thuy - Principal of Khai Xuan Primary School said: Since the beginning of July, the school has proactively inspected and reviewed the facilities, teaching equipment, and green tree system to report to the People's Committee of Dong Thanh Commune; from there, there is a plan to repair and upgrade the facilities, teaching equipment, creating a "Green - Clean - Beautiful and safe" environmental landscape.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the school identified “Improving the quality of education” as an important political task. Therefore, during the summer vacation, the school’s teachers actively participated in training and fostering classes and enhanced self-study and self-improvement to improve their qualifications and capacity to perform their tasks.

From the first week of August 2025, Khai Xuan Primary School organized training and professional development for teachers.

In addition, from the first week of August, the school organized training and development for the staff on teaching forms and methods; focusing on "Promoting digital transformation, developing digital capacity and applying artificial intelligence (AI) to teaching and learning management at school".

Accordingly, training contents such as: Researching and selecting methods for applying artificial intelligence (AI); ways to identify competency domains and component competencies to develop digital competencies for students according to "Circular No. 02/2025/TT-BGDDT dated January 24, 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training, regulating the Digital Competency Framework for learners" aim to improve efficiency, personalize experiences and expand access to knowledge for students.

At the same time, the school has coordinated well with political organizations inside and outside the school, and with Khai Xuan Kindergarten to promote enrollment and welcome first graders to school on time.

Effectively implementing a “Safe - Friendly - Equal” school

Over the years, Khai Xuan Primary School has constantly strived to build a healthy educational environment, green - clean - beautiful and safe classrooms towards the goal of sustainable development.

Accordingly, the school focuses on maintaining and implementing the 5 standards of the school model "Safe - Friendly - Equal"; paying attention to "Training discipline, communication culture, and behavior for students". Thereby creating conditions for each student to study, practice and develop in a positive, safe and humane environment.

The physical facilities are regularly inspected and maintained; the playground and learning areas are all technically safe. The school coordinates with the Commune Police and parents to provide students with skills to prevent accidents, injuries, fires, abuse and school violence.

Students of Khai Xuan Primary School participate in the experiential activity "Education on traffic safety skills, prevention of injuries and fires".

Life skills education activities, arts, sports, book festivals, etc. are regularly organized to help students develop personal abilities, communicate confidently, and love their school and class more.

In addition, the school enhances teaching methods associated with traditional school education and real life through local education, legal education, traffic safety, moral education, lifestyle, etc. to bring knowledge to the real life of students.
