Phu Tho: More than 70 students attend tourism professional training course

On March 27, in Long Coc commune, Tan Son district, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho organized the opening ceremony of a tourism professional training course under the Project "Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development".

The training course had more than 70 participants who were homestay owners and people who have the conditions to participate in tourism service business to serve tourists, commune officials, teachers of localeducational institutions who are capable of guiding tours and doing tourism promotion work in Long Coc commune.

From March 27 to May 26, more than 70 students were equipped with skills in reception, serving guests, serving tables, rooms, mixing drinks, preparing food; skills for tour guides in Long Coc; instructed in photography, video recording, content editing, building promotional images to introduce tourist destinations; English communication training for the community participating in serving tourists...

Through the training course, trainees will be updated with new knowledge, information and experience in tourism activities; thereby gradually standardizing the staff and labor force working in tourism in the area. This is also an opportunity for those working in tourism to exchange, learn, build partnerships to diversify tourism services and products, promote the development of the community tourism model in the general development strategy of Tan Son district tourism in particular and the province in general./.
