Recently, in Hanoi , the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union coordinated with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly to organize a conference to honor outstanding elderly women nationwide in building cultural, prosperous and happy families.
The Organizing Committee awarded a certificate of merit to Ms. Dinh Thi Tam, Quyet Tien area, Cu Dong commune, Thanh Son district.
The program honored and commended 291 elderly women delegates selected from the grassroots, representing more than 9 million elderly women nationwide. Phu Tho province had 4 elderly women being commended, including: Ms. Vu Thi Su - Viet Tri city, Ms. Tran Thi Giua - Phu Tho town, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu - Cam Khe district, Ms. Dinh Thi Tam - Thanh Son district.
The Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit to outstanding elderly women, including four outstanding elderly women from Phu Tho province.
The program was organized for the first time nationwide for elderly women to honor and pay tribute to typical examples of elderly women who are outstanding in building a cultured, prosperous, equal and happy family. At the same time, it encouraged and motivated elderly women to promote the role of "Old age, bright example" in all areas of social life, contributing to further glorifying the fine traditions of the elderly in Vietnam and Vietnamese women.
