Vice Chairwoman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich visited and presented gifts to outstanding policy families.

(GLO)- On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 24, Vice Chairwoman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich visited and presented gifts to outstanding policy families in the province.

Accordingly, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich and representatives of some provincial departments, branches and sectors visited and presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Sen (Chanh Nhon village, Xuan An commune) and typical policy families in the communes of Binh Hiep, Phu Cat, Ngo May, Xuan An, Cat Tien and De Gi.

At the places she visited, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich kindly inquired about the health, life and thoughts of the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families of policy beneficiaries. At the same time, she expressed her deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the Mothers and families of policy beneficiaries to the cause of national liberation, national reunification, construction and defense of the Fatherland.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also hopes that Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families with meritorious services will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, be exemplary leaders in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns for people to learn from and follow, contributing to building an increasingly prosperous homeland.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich requested localities to better implement the work of "Repaying gratitude", especially taking care of the material and spiritual life of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs. Thereby, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", encouraging families to continue to strive to improve their lives.
