Kinhtedothi - On the afternoon of January 10, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha visited and presented gifts to policy families, meritorious people and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Ung Hoa district.
The delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Do Thi Bang (102 years old, Dong Lo commune), whose two children are martyrs.
On behalf of the city's leaders, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha kindly inquired about her health, expressed her joy at seeing that Mother was still healthy and alert, and expressed her deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices that Mother and her family had made to the revolutionary cause.
Wishing Mother and family a peaceful and happy Lunar New Year, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha hopes that families with meritorious services will continue to promote revolutionary traditions and encourage their children and grandchildren to actively contribute to the development of their homeland.
The delegation also visited and presented gifts at the Hanoi Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation of Meritorious People No. II. This is the place where 38 meritorious people are cared for, of which 16 people need full care. Over the years, the center has performed well in its mission of taking care of the health, nurturing and nursing meritorious people, especially the elderly, those with poor health or many underlying diseases.
Recognizing and praising the dedication of the center's staff in caring for policy beneficiaries, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha also highly appreciated the cultural, artistic and sports activities regularly held here, contributing to improving the spiritual life of people with meritorious services.
In addition, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha requested the center to continue promoting the achieved results, overcome difficulties and enhance the sense of responsibility in the work of nurturing and nursing. Hanoi City will continue to care for and support the center to better perform the task of caring for people with meritorious services.
