On the morning of August 22, under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee continued the question-and-answer session on the implementation of resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee; closing the question-and-answer session.
Attending at the Ninh Binh bridge were comrade Tran Thi Hong Thanh, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders of the Provincial People's Council Committees and a number of relevant departments and branches.
During the session, the National Assembly continued to question and answer questions on the second group of issues related to the fields of justice; internal affairs; security, order, social safety; inspection; court; prosecution. The attending National Assembly deputies asked many questions requesting information on the rate of attracting excellent students at the central and local levels? How is the roadmap for perfecting the institution on administrative proceedings implemented? Solutions for cadres, civil servants, and non-professional workers at the commune level to enjoy full benefits when they leave their jobs due to the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units? Removing obstacles to valuation in criminal proceedings? The Government's responsibility in continuously amending the law? Solutions to remove difficulties in judicial appraisal? Causes of limited quality of protests?...
For the group of questions in this field, the people directly answering the questions are Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Hoa Binh, Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy Le Minh Tri, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang, Inspector General of the Government Doan Hong Phong and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long.
Speaking at the end of the question and answer session for the second group of fields, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh said: The question and answer session was lively, democratic, frank with a constructive spirit and high responsibility. The National Assembly deputies with their practical experience closely followed the question and answer sessions, asked very specific, concise, clear questions, focusing on issues in the implementation of the resolutions questioned and hoped for better solutions to remove difficulties and problems in the coming time; further improve the functions, tasks and more effective operations of ministries and branches.
At the same time, seriously acknowledge the shortcomings, limitations and arising issues that need to be studied and resolved; propose solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Government, ministries and branches in the coming time.
In his closing speech at the question and answer session, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man highly appreciated the enthusiastic spirit, serious work, and high responsibility of the delegates. The entire content and program of the question and answer session at the 36th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee has been completed. There were 75 National Assembly deputies speaking, of which 66 deputies questioned and 9 deputies debated.
The National Assembly deputies demonstrated high responsibility, carefully studied the reports, asked concise, clear, focused questions, and went straight to the point; the Government members and sector heads had a firm grasp of the current situation of the sectors and fields under their charge, basically answered fully, frankly, explained, clarified many issues and proposed solutions for effective implementation in the coming time. The National Assembly Standing Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the seriousness, openness, and high sense of responsibility of the Government members and sector heads in answering questions and absorbing the opinions of the National Assembly deputies.
In addition, the National Assembly deputies also pointed out that the implementation of some resolutions and tasks is still slow, some contents and targets in the resolutions have not been completed, have not met requirements, have slow progress, or still have difficulties and problems, which need to be promptly overcome, removed, and resolved in the coming time.
The National Assembly Chairman requested the Government, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, Ministers and Heads of sectors to fully absorb the opinions of National Assembly deputies, continue to resolutely, synchronously and comprehensively implement the resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on thematic supervision and questioning, focusing on promptly, fully and effectively overcoming shortcomings and limitations in each field.
On behalf of the National Assembly Standing Committee, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man outlined a number of basic and key tasks directly related to the main responsibilities of ministries and branches to focus on implementing in the coming time.
The National Assembly Chairman said that General Secretary and President To Lam has repeatedly mentioned the important role and urgent requirements in promoting the building and improvement of institutions, promptly removing difficulties and obstacles to develop the economy - society, ensure national defense - security, foreign affairs and prevent and combat corruption and negativity. Today's question and answer session has actively contributed to promoting the implementation of those very important tasks and requirements.
