Attending the conference were comrades: Tran Anh Dung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Truong Quoc Bao, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; leaders of the Departments of Quality, Processing and Market Development of the provinces and cities: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh and Thai Nguyen.
After more than 10 years of implementing the Project on Restructuring the Agricultural Sector towards increasing added value and sustainable development, many enterprises, cooperatives and production establishments in the province have focused on investing in technology, building raw material areas, signing production contracts, and processing many quality agricultural products with brands and high added value, good competitiveness in the domestic and foreign markets.
The whole province has built 400 large fields with an area of 11,840 hectares, of which about 2,000 hectares are guaranteed products. The total output of grain is estimated at: 967.8 thousand tons. The output of fresh meat for slaughter is estimated at 202 thousand tons, an increase of 2.2% over the same period in 2024. The whole province has formed over 103 concentrated aquaculture areas; 1,689 hectares of clam farming have achieved ASC certification. The output of farmed aquatic products is estimated at over 151 thousand tons, an increase of 3.5% over the same period in 2024... The One Commune One Product program has been promoted, up to now Ninh Binh province has 980 OCOP products with 3 stars or more, of which 3 products are ranked 5 stars nationally.
Participating in the Safe Agricultural Products Week this year, there are 40 booths of 60 enterprises, production facilities, and individual households with over 400 agricultural product lines, typical OCOP products of the province and some selected products of enterprises in the provinces: Hai Phong, Hung Yen and Thai Nguyen. Typical products include: Rươi field ecological rice, Toan Xuan clean rice, Danh Vi honey, Quynh Thanh rice, Minh Duong dried agricultural products, Lenger clean clams, Thanh Vui seafood, Nam Dinh clean salt, Nam Phat 7-minute ham, Hien Thuc and Cong Danh clean pork; traditional products of the province are also strongly developed such as: Ninh Co fish sauce, Lam Bao fish sauce, Dinh Thuan bird's nest, Kim Thanh Hoa Chau goat, Hai Hau longan cake... At the exhibition area, the booths focused on introducing OCOP products, traditional craft village products of the localities and were widely chosen by consumers.
The Week of Introducing Safe Agricultural Products and OCOP Products of Ninh Binh Province in 2025 is an opportunity for consumers in the province to access safe, hygienic, high-quality, and food-safe agricultural products; at the same time, it is an opportunity for businesses and production facilities to promote their brands and products; learn and research market trends, build more connections and cooperate to link production with the market towards a sustainable agricultural development with high added value.
The week takes place from August 29 to September 5, 2025 at the Event House, Nam Dinh Clean Agriculture Introduction Center, Nam Dinh Ward.
At the conference, leaders of the Quality Control Department, the Center for Agricultural Extension and Trade Promotion, and production establishments signed a program of cooperation in production, market development, and building distribution and consumption channels for agricultural products and OCOP products of the province, contributing to increasing the value of agricultural products for local farmers.
