Along with that, taking advantage of the strength of support policies, cooperatives complete infrastructure and equipment, gradually improve quality, promote the role of "midwife" for household economy , becoming one of the important economic components in the spirit of innovation for integration and development.

Hoa Thanh General Agricultural Service Cooperative ( Phu Yen Ward) and Agricultural Cooperative 714 (Ea Pal Commune) have been recognized as National Cooperative Stars for two consecutive years (2024, 2025). With high-quality rice production as their main activity, these two units not only strengthen the strength of Dak Lak rice in the market but also create stable output for many associated farmers when they purchase all post-harvest rice output.

According to Mr. Vu Xuan Thu, Director of Agricultural Cooperative 714, the Cooperative mainly produces high-value rice varieties such as ST24, ST25, etc. Over the years, the Cooperative has invested in completing infrastructure and equipment such as unmanned spraying aircraft, high-tech drying ovens, etc. to modernize production and processing stages. Not only does the Cooperative purchase hundreds of hectares of rice from its members, it also cooperates in production, ensuring output for many local farmers. The unit has successfully built fields that meet VietGAP standards and is aiming to produce according to organic standards.

High quality rice from cooperatives is contributing to creating more strength for Dak Lak rice in the market.

Mr. Pham Duc Hau, Director of Hoa Thanh General Agricultural Service Cooperative, said: Hoa Thanh high-quality rice products of the Cooperative achieved 3-star OCOP certification at the provincial level in 2023. Along with that, to contribute to improving the lives of members, the Cooperative not only focuses on supporting production but also creates additional revenue from business services. Currently, the Cooperative has more than 3,200 member households contributing 1.4 billion VND to the Cooperative. In 2024, the Cooperative achieved a revenue of more than 3.9 billion VND, with a profit after tax of 974 million VND. Workers at the Cooperative have an income of over 6 million VND/person/month.

Not only rice, many other typical agricultural products such as coffee, tuna, durian, salt, etc. are also being supported by cooperatives through trade promotion activities, brand building, and registration of growing area codes. In particular, the East-West connection is helping to increase the number of cooperatives, creating opportunities to diversify activities and strengthen the quality of new-style cooperatives.

The State's support programs are very practical and meaningful, helping cooperatives expand their scale of operations, improve product quality, and increase business efficiency. This creates jobs and increases income for members and workers.

Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan , Director of Quan Vuong Agricultural Production and Business Cooperative (Ea Nuol commune)

According to the Provincial Cooperative Union, as of June 2025, the whole province has 1,096 cooperatives operating with nearly 184,000 members. The increase in the number of members and cooperatives is creating a large force for the collective economic sector of the province. Cooperatives also participate in most fields such as agriculture, trade, construction, transportation, industry, small-scale industry, etc. In particular, in the agricultural sector, cooperatives are an active factor in the new rural construction movement, contributing to maintaining the activities of traditional craft villages, effectively contributing to the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program, etc. As of July 2025, the rate of cooperatives achieving provincial-level OCOP certification accounts for over 20% of the total number of participating entities.

With 1.8 billion VND from the capital to support the development of agricultural cooperatives according to Resolution No. 106/NQ-CP of the Government, Quan Vuong Agricultural Production and Business Cooperative (Ea Nuol commune) invested in a system of cages and modern equipment to raise native laying hens and broilers with a scale of 13,000 birds.

Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan, Director of this Cooperative, said: Compared to the previous floor farming method, the current closed farming method helps the Cooperative stabilize the temperature in the barn. Thanks to that, the chicken flock grows healthily, has less disease, and less loss. In addition, cage farming also helps the unit significantly reduce the cost of feed and veterinary medicine, so profits increase significantly. Up to now, the Cooperative exports an average of 7,000 - 70,000 eggs to the Dak Lak and Lam Dong markets each day.

“The State’s support programs are very practical and meaningful, helping cooperatives expand their operations, improve product quality, and increase business efficiency. This creates jobs and increases income for members and workers,” Mr. Tuan added.

With capital support, many cooperatives modernize production lines, gradually improving the quality of operations.

The same is true for the Hoa Phong Agricultural Service Cooperative (Tay Hoa Commune). With a capital source of VND 215 million to support production development, the Cooperative has expanded the planting area and modernized equipment for taking care of mulberry trees, contributing to the preservation and development of the traditional Hoa Phong mulberry growing and sericulture village. According to Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Director of this Cooperative, the Cooperative has invested in a new technology automatic irrigation system to ensure irrigation water helps the trees grow well. The Cooperative has introduced new mulberry varieties for trial planting on an area of 1.1 hectares and sent members to visit and learn how to raise silkworms using new techniques of the industry. The Cooperative is also building a concentrated silkworm house on an area of 200 m2. Along with the successful management of Hoa Phong silkworm wine products, the Cooperative has gradually formed a value chain on mulberry trees, moving towards autonomy from the stage of providing silkworm breeds to accompanying people in caring for, collecting cocoons and consuming.

Currently, by making good use of support policies, cooperatives have more capital to invest in equipment and infrastructure to gradually consolidate and improve the quality of operations. According to the Provincial Cooperative Union, in the coming time, the unit will focus on a number of key tasks such as participating in the development and implementation of collective economic policies; promoting propaganda to raise awareness of the new cooperative model, the 2023 Cooperative Law; providing advice and support to collective economic units to improve service quality, attract members and increase access to support capital sources...
