PetroVietnam awarded the decision to appoint a new Deputy General Director

Mr. Le Manh Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation ( PTSC ) has just been appointed to the position of Deputy General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam).

Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to appoint comrade Le Manh Cuong to the position of Deputy General Director of the Group.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Manh Hung, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group; comrade Le Ngoc Son, General Director of the Group; comrade Tran Quang Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group; together with comrades members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, members of the Board of Members, Deputy General Directors; leaders of specialized departments/Group Office; leaders of member units and branches of the Group.

At the ceremony, Mr. Phan Anh Minh, Head of the Group's Human Resources Management Board, announced the decision to appoint officials. Based on work requirements and with the approval of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, the Group's Board of Members decided to temporarily appoint Mr. Le Manh Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director of PTSC, to the position of Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group. The decision takes effect from the date of signing.

On behalf of the Group's leadership, comrade Le Manh Hung, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group congratulated comrade Le Manh Cuong on being trusted and credited by the Group's Board of Directors, officers, employees and workers with the important responsibility of Deputy General Director of the Group.

Comrade Le Manh Hung emphasized that in order to successfully implement the strategy of developing PetroVietnam into a national industrial and energy group, in addition to perfecting the development institution and organizing an optimal management apparatus, the prerequisite to be implemented is to perfect the team of key staff with capacity and experience.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of PetroVietnam Le Manh Hung believes that with his experience and capacity of over 30 years working in the Oil and Gas industry, comrade Le Manh Cuong, together with the Group's leadership, will soon catch up with the work, unite, continue to share difficulties, overcome challenges, and aim to become a national industrial - energy group, contributing to building and protecting a strong Vietnam, gradually improving the material and spiritual life of workers, consolidating and developing the reputation, brand and culture of PetroVietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, new Deputy General Director of PetroVietnam Le Manh Cuong thanked the leaders, officers and employees of the Group for their trust and confidence in him in assigning him the new responsibility.

He determined that this was both an honor and a responsibility for him and hoped that the Group's leaders and member units would continue to coordinate and create favorable conditions for him to successfully complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the implementation of the Group's major development goals.
