OPES Representative Receives Sponsor Certificate for Hair Library for Cancer Patients
At the meeting, OPES, VPBank and MSIG donated the first amount of money to raise funds to support cancer patients.
Ms. Pham Thi Huong Giang - Director of Communications and Marketing of OPES shared: Accompanying BCNV not only has material meaning, but also creates an emotional support for patients, like a friend who shares, is always present in, the most challenging moments of each person.
"We believe that with the support of BCNV, not only will patients have beautiful hair, regain confidence and motivation in life, but healthy people will also be more aware of taking care of and preventing diseases," said Ms. Pham Thi Huong Giang.
"Hair Library" is a wig program made from real hair donated by the community, initiated by BCNV since 2015. The donated hair will be processed and made into beautiful, airy wigs that can be cleaned and styled and given free of charge to cancer patients. To date, the program has received more than 200,000 hair donations, helping thousands of patients feel more confident during their treatment.
Representatives of OPES and VPBank shared their desire to accompany BCNV in activities related to cancer patients in Vietnam.
This campaign to accompany cancer patients opens a long-term commitment of OPES and its partners in providing preventive solutions for serious diseases that have been causing financial, physical and mental burdens for patients and their families.
For example, the VPB O.Life+ product was jointly researched and developed by OPES, VPBank and MSIG with the message "For a prosperous health". This will be a solution to help share the burden of treatment costs, help patients have the opportunity to access timely medical services, and maintain their spirit in the journey of fighting the disease.
The active participation in social activities from representatives such as OPES, VPBank, MSIG shows that businesses not only contribute to economic development but also demonstrate the spirit of humanity through the responsibility of improving the quality of life of the community. In particular, the priority that businesses aim for is health care - the greatest "asset" of human beings, a solid foundation for each person to continue to develop on the journey of sustainable prosperity.
