In mid-June, Ba Phat had to struggle to carry his notebooks and books to review for the graduation exam right in the Can Tho Cardiovascular Hospital campus because his family was alone and his mother unfortunately fell ill and had to be hospitalized for treatment.

The 18-year-old young man made many people admire his determination to study but did not forget to fulfill his filial duty by taking care of his sick mother.

Talking about the graduation exam, Ba Phat shared that he is putting all his effort into the exam with the dream of passing the entrance exam to the tourism department of Can Tho University. According to Ba Phat, if you want to get 8 points or higher in literature, you need to have a solid grasp of the knowledge of literature and focus on reviewing different types of essay questions.

"When the teacher corrects my test, I often look carefully at the wrong part or make mistakes in the reading comprehension section. I look at it many times to memorize and deepen the knowledge. In case I come across that knowledge unit again in the real test, I will be able to do it right away.

For the writing part, I took advantage of watching lectures on the Internet that teachers introduced and reading a lot of news, articles in newspapers and media from reliable sources to increase my vocabulary, writing style and find evidence to make the material in my essay richer and more convincing in the real exam. Only then will I get a high score in this subject...", Ba Phat said.

Practice deductive thinking from solving problems

And the female student Song Xuan was very brave to overcome the incident when the boat where her family lived was submerged by heavy rain at the end of May.

The sinking boat also submerged all the books that Xuan was studying for the graduation exam, but that did not stop Xuan from studying for the C00 group with the dream of entering the history pedagogy university.

Song Xuan shared that in addition to the time spent reviewing with teachers, self-study is necessary. "For the past month, I have focused on solving exam questions.

First, understand the structure and type of questions. Second, practice your deductive thinking with each type of question in the test. Every day, I solve one to two questions, then ask the teacher to correct them directly or I watch detailed test solving channels on YouTube," Xuan said.

In addition, for history, you need to master the core knowledge of Vietnamese history. You should study according to mind maps to remember the timelines, events, and significance of historical events such as the August Revolution, the resistance war against France, the resistance war against America, etc., thereby combining background knowledge and thinking and reasoning skills to answer the questions in the real exam.

In particular, to achieve high scores in geography, candidates need to have a firm grasp of basic knowledge and calculation formulas for ratios, proportions, and values ​​in finding answers to questions related to population, natural area, economic restructuring, etc.

Xuan himself commented that the questions in the geography exam are mostly applied, meaning that candidates apply the theory they have learned and then use reasoning and calculation methods to find the correct answer. Regularly watching the news, updating data, and practical geographical knowledge are also very useful for candidates.
