Appearing in episode 4, the performance He led by Phuong My Chi's team brought a new breeze when combining traditional opera and classical drama into a modern musical space.
Phuong My Chi shared that from the first time she heard the demo of "He", she immediately thought of incorporating Hat Boi and Tuong Co elements into the performance, because this is a special and priceless heritage.
“Although this art form is not very popular in the mainstream music, it always carries a cultural depth and special artistic inspiration from the visuals, music to the stage language. Chi believes that this will create a meaningful highlight on the modern stage,” said Phuong My Chi.
Music with a traditional cultural influence is Phuong My Chi's strength. She received the consensus of all members in the group, including singer Phuong Ly, rapper Phao, Chi Xe, and the support of WEAN.

Behind the success of He , we cannot fail to mention the creation of music producer DTAP. To develop the ideas of Phuong My Chi's team into the performance, the production team researched and redeveloped a typical melody of Hat Boi and Tuong Co, then restructured it and blended it into modern house music.
Traditional instruments such as the Dan Co, Dan Sen, drums, Dong Lo, and Sona trumpet were recorded live by musicians from the Ngoc Khanh ancient opera troupe, helping the song to have the most authentic cultural nuances.

The team worked directly with Meritorious Artist Ngoc Khanh to receive detailed instructions on this subject in terms of music, costumes, body, instruments and stage principles.
Phuong My Chi's team also organized a working session with the project team "Heritage Journey - Hello Vietnam" to better understand the limitations and spirit of innovating this traditional art form and the differences in the way of singing and performing Northern classical opera and Southern traditional opera.

After the performance aired, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Khanh expressed: “I was moved to tears when I watched the performance He . The joy is indescribable because you guys did it. Thank you for joining hands to spread the traditional art that is gradually fading away, renewing, refining... bringing the music and a little bit of Hat Boi costumes closer to the public and young people.”
