Having built Sen Viet Stage for more than 10 years, director Le Nguyen Dat has hatched the idea of ​​establishing a stage specializing in experimentation. He hopes to create a playground for young directors and actors who have graduated from the Department of Traditional Theatre at the University of Theatre and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City. Last night was also the program to celebrate the traditional day of Vietnamese Theatre of this brand. Many famous artists attended, sharing the joy of director Le Nguyen Dat.

"Sun Eclipse" is an experimental cai luong play composed by author Le Duy Hanh, adapted by young author Nguyen Phuong (he is currently directing at the University of Theatre and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City).

According to director Meritorious Artist Le Nguyen Dat, to have the "debut" version last night, the script was changed from the original script and had to go through more than 10 content edits and comments from experts, to prepare for the competition in Hanoi from October 4 (the play will be performed in the festival schedule on October 11).

Director Le Nguyen Dat shared that the play has many experiments and innovations, and promises to be the center of attention at the festival when Cai Luong uses modernity in music , mixing a little rock music, a little music from other art forms but does not lose its traditional quality.

The show ended with the meaning of celebrating the 47th birthday of director Meritorious Artist Le Nguyen Dat when his students created a surprise. People's Artist Thanh Ngan represented the artists associated with Sen Viet stage to congratulate the director who brought her the Gold Medal through the play "Cội Thiêng" in 2015.
