Ninh Thuan tourism industry welcomes more than 2.29 million visitors

The total number of visitors and vacationers in Ninh Thuan province in the first 6 months of 2025 is estimated at 2.29 million, up 16.2% over the same period, reaching 63.6% of the plan; of which, international visitors are estimated at 135,000, up 164.7% over the same period, reaching 90% of the plan; social income from tourism activities is estimated at 2,970 billion VND.

Tourism and service activities in the province in the first 6 months of the year achieved many positive signs, especially the high room occupancy rate during holidays and Tet. Currently, the province has 255 tourist accommodation establishments and 5,110 rooms. State management of accommodation service business has been promoted, with regular reminders and instructions for establishments to make statistical reports on the software http://thongke.tourism.vn; notification of the time of starting business or change of owner, business name, name of tourist accommodation establishment; procedures for recognition of tourist accommodation establishment rank.

In the last 6 months of the year, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism continued to strengthen communication activities to raise awareness of all levels, sectors and the whole society about developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector associated with environmental protection. Coordinate with departments, sectors and localities to strengthen inspection and supervision of tourism business management activities in the province, focusing on inspecting and strictly controlling businesses operating illegally; focus on removing and resolving difficulties and problems of tourism businesses to ensure timely, strict, effective and in accordance with regulations. Continue to investigate and survey tourism resources in Ninh Thuan province in 2025; advise on assessing minimum conditions for technical facilities at accommodation establishments in the province.
