Many majors at schools have extremely high admission scores in 2025, and candidates must achieve perfect or near-perfect scores to be admitted. Some majors even failed with a score of 9.6 per subject.

Up to this point, universities across the country have announced their admission scores for 2025. This year's admission season continues to record majors at many schools with sky-high admission scores. Candidates who want to be admitted must achieve absolute or near-absolute scores. If they only achieve 9.6 points/subject without any priority points, they will still be eliminated. Some majors even require absolute scores, meaning they must achieve 10 points/subject (if there are no incentive points).

In the South, the University of Information Technology has a benchmark score based on the transcripts of 149 high schools nationwide, all 14 majors from 27.47 to 29.91 points. Of which, the major with the lowest benchmark score is 27.47, meaning that a candidate with 9 points/subject will not pass any major. The major of Artificial Intelligence has the highest benchmark score of 29.91, meaning that a candidate must score 9.97 points/subject to be admitted.

In terms of graduation exam scores, the Artificial Intelligence major continues to have the highest benchmark score of 29.6, meaning that if a candidate does not have priority points, each subject must have 9.86 points to have any hope of passing.

At the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City, in the admission method based on academic results combined with a number of achievement conditions, the standard score for Multimedia Communications is 29.35, the standard score for International Relations is 29.03, and Journalism is 29.

In particular, the advanced program of Computer Science at the University of Natural Sciences in Ho Chi Minh City, based on the graduation exam scores, has a standard score of 29.92 for blocks A00; 29.81 for blocks A01 and B00; and 29.56 for block D07. The standard score of Artificial Intelligence for block A00 is 29.39; blocks A01 and B00 is 29.1; and block D07 is 28.85. This means that candidates must achieve 9.97 points/subject to be admitted.

Meanwhile, if considering the academic transcript scores of 149 specialized and gifted schools, the benchmark score for Computer Science majors in group A00 is 29.98; Group A01, B00, D07 is 29.96. Candidates who want to be admitted must achieve absolute scores. In this method, many majors also have benchmark scores above 29 such as Data Science majors, Computer majors, Artificial Intelligence, Microchip design, etc.

In the North, the benchmark for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (advanced program) at Hanoi University of Science and Technology is 29.39; the Computer Science Program (IT1) has a benchmark of 29.19 based on graduation exam scores.

The benchmark score for Psychology at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Hanoi is 29.

Get perfect score to become a teacher or doctor

At the University of Foreign Languages ​​(Vietnam National University, Hanoi), the standard score for the two majors of English Pedagogy and Chinese Pedagogy is 30 points.

The two majors of English Pedagogy and Chinese Pedagogy of the University of Foreign Languages ​​(Hue University) this year have the same benchmark score of 30/30. That means to be admitted, candidates must achieve 10 points/subject (if there are no bonus points).

Many other pedagogical majors also have very high admission scores. Specifically, the English Pedagogy major of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education has an admission score of 29.57.

Meanwhile, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, the benchmark score for Chemistry Pedagogy is 29.38 for group A00; and the benchmark score for Literature Pedagogy is 29.07 for group C00.

Especially in the military school block, the Medical major at the Military Medical Academy for female candidates in the North has a standard score of 30, for female candidates in the South has a standard score of 29.

At the Academy of Military Science, the standard score for female candidates in the International Relations major is 30, and the standard score for female candidates in the Russian Language major is 29.17.
