These days, the province has experienced a severe cold spell, with temperatures in many areas ranging from 12 to 15 degrees Celsius; in mountainous areas such as Sa Pa town and some communes in Bat Xat district, the temperature has dropped to 2 to 4 degrees Celsius, especially at the top of Fansipan, it could be below 1 degree Celsius, with the possibility of frost and snow. In the highlands of Muong Khuong, Bac Ha, and Simacai, the temperature ranges from 6 to 9 degrees Celsius.
