Many activities to care for the lives of union members and workers

In the past 6 months, the Trade Union of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones has proactively grasped the situation of union members and workers; promoted the work of caring for the lives, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers through many practical activities. Notable activities include: "Workers' Market 2025", "Trade Union Meal", presenting 3,794 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances at grassroots trade unions and Self-Management Groups of Workers' Dormitories who did not return home for Tet with a total amount of over 1.7 billion VND; handing over and supporting the construction of 2 Trade Union Shelters... Propaganda and mobilization work for workers and workers to voluntarily join the trade union organization has been focused on. From the beginning of 2025 to now, the Trade Union of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones has mobilized the establishment of 1 grassroots trade union, developing 2,711 union members; bringing the total to 62 grassroots unions with 28,238 units.

On this occasion, the Trade Union of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones awarded 11 scholarships to children of workers and employees who have overcome difficulties and studied well; and presented a Trade Union Shelter to Mr. Luu Minh Duc, a worker of Can Tho Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company.
