Nghe Tinh Port puts up a signboard of typical works to welcome the Party Congress and modernize seaport infrastructure

On the afternoon of June 12, 2025, in the exciting atmosphere of competition to welcome the 26th Congress of the Party Committee of Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company and the 7th Congress of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company solemnly held the ceremony to attach the plaque of the project "1A, 1B base crane" at Cua Lo Stevedoring Enterprise - a typical project demonstrating the determination to innovate and modernize the technical infrastructure of the seaport.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Doan Thi Thu Huong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Corporation, Ms. Duong Thi Thu Hien - Deputy Head of the Organization Board of the Party Committee of the Corporation and representatives of the leaders of Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company: Mr. Le Doan Long - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Bui Kieu Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director; Ms. Tran Thi Huong - Member of the Board of Directors and many cadres, party members and employees.

The project "Investment in 02 fixed-base cranes" at Cua Lo Stevedoring Enterprise started on November 6, 2024 and was completed ahead of schedule on December 30, 2024. With a total investment of over 31 billion VND, the project saved nearly 2.6 billion VND compared to the estimate and shortened the construction period by 45 days. Putting the equipment into operation early helps improve port operation efficiency, reduce ship clearance time, increase loading and unloading capacity and create a competitive advantage for Cua Lo Port.

Not only bringing direct economic efficiency, the project also plays an important role in modernizing logistics infrastructure in the North Central region, contributing to promoting economic growth of Nghe An province and neighboring localities, creating momentum for the development of supporting industries, transportation, trade and services.

The completion and installation of the typical project plaque on the occasion of the Party Congress at all levels is a recognition of the spirit of solidarity and creative efforts of the collective of cadres, party members and employees of Nghe Tinh Port, while contributing to building the image of a dynamic and professional seaport enterprise in the system of Vietnam National Shipping Lines.
