Found the body of a woman missing due to floods

(QBĐT) - On the afternoon of June 14, information from the Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and the Command Committee for Civil Defense of Minh Hoa district said that after 2 days of searching, the authorities discovered the body of 1 of 2 missing women in village 3, Tan Hoa commune.

The victim's body was found nearly 1km from where he was swept away.

Accordingly, at around 2 p.m. the same day, the body was found nearly 1km downstream from the location where it was swept away by floodwaters. The victim was identified as Ms. TTĐ (born in 1963), the younger sister in the case of two siblings swept away by floodwaters and missing.

Currently, the authorities have handed over and supported the family in burying according to local customs. At the same time, they are actively searching for the remaining missing victims.

As reported, on the evening of June 12, 3 women in village 3, Tan Hoa commune (Minh Hoa) went to catch frogs and were unfortunately swept away by the water. One was lucky enough to swim to shore, the other 2, sisters, went missing.
