Thanh Hoa City has many unique historical and cultural relics and traditional festivals that have been preserved and promoted by the people for many generations. In recent years, thanks to the attention paid to the restoration, embellishment and promotion of the value of relics, many spiritual destinations in the city have increasingly affirmed their attraction to tourists, especially at the beginning of the new year.

Thanh Hoa City: Many spiritual destinations attract visitors Ritual at the Temple Festival of the Later Le Dynasty - Spring At Ty 2025.

Bao An Pagoda in Dai Ly village, Thieu Van commune is a destination chosen by many tourists. According to historical records, the pagoda was built during the Ly dynasty. In 1886, when the Ba Dinh uprising broke out, the pagoda was a gathering place for patriotic writers who participated in the Can Vuong edict, so many items were destroyed by the French. In 1905, the pagoda was restored and in 2001, it was further restored with 3 front halls and 3 back halls. In 2005, Bao An Pagoda was recognized as a provincial historical and cultural relic.

Venerable Thich Ban Tue, abbot of Bao An Pagoda, said: On holidays and Tet, the pagoda attracts a large number of people and tourists to worship and enjoy. To promote and preserve the historical and cultural values of the pagoda, every year on the 10th day of the first lunar month, Thieu Van commune coordinates with the Buddhist Association of Thanh Hoa City to organize a festival with traditional rituals and cultural activities, to pray for a year of favorable weather and peaceful life for the people.

The Later Le Dynasty Temple, located in Dong Ve Ward, has long been a place that attracts a large number of people and tourists to come and worship and show their gratitude to their ancestors. According to many documents, the history of the formation and development of the Later Le Dynasty Temple began in 1805, when King Gia Long moved the Later Le Dynasty Temple from Thang Long to Bo Ve (now Dong Ve Ward, Thanh Hoa City) to worship the emperors and queen mothers of the Le Dynasty. The Later Le Dynasty Temple consists of a main gate, a courtyard, a front hall and a back hall. Over hundreds of years of existence, the Temple has been renovated many times. Since being recognized as a National Historical - Cultural and Architectural Relic in 1995, the State has devoted a lot of resources to restoration and embellishment to create the appearance of the Later Le Dynasty Temple as it is today.

Every year, in order to commemorate the merits of the Later Le kings and educate the younger generation about the national historical traditions, in early spring, Thanh Hoa City often organizes the Later Le Temple Festival. The festival takes place with many traditional rituals such as: worshiping the temple, offering incense to show respect and gratitude to King Le Thai To, the holy emperors, the queen mothers, princes, and mandarins of the Later Le dynasty who have made great contributions to the country and the people. The festival includes many exciting activities such as wrestling, chess, martial arts, running the words "Thien ha thai binh "... The Later Le Temple always attracts a large number of people and tourists to worship and visit.

Along with that, in recent years, Thanh Hoa City has prioritized resources to restore and embellish many relics in the area. Thereby, it not only contributes to preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage, serving the religious and spiritual needs of the people, but also contributes to creating spiritual tourist destinations in the city, attracting many tourists to visit and worship.
