Temperatures rise slightly, UV index at very high levels

(NLDO) - The weather in Ho Chi Minh City today is mostly sunny, no rain; hot at noon with a UV index at a very high risk level.


According to information from the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, today, January 19, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City is mainly cloudy, sunny during the day, sometimes hot, cool in the early morning and at night, no rain.

The lowest temperature is 22 degrees Celsius and the highest is 32 degrees Celsius, with a slight increase compared to yesterday.

The weather in Ho Chi Minh City today is mostly sunny, the UV index is very high.

Accordingly, the humidity in the air is also high at 75% during sunny hours and will cause a feeling of heat. Besides, from 10am to nearly 2pm, the UV index (ultraviolet rays) in districts and counties is still at a very high harmful level (level 8).

Therefore, people should prepare carefully before going out by using sun protection measures appropriate to the weather conditions.

The weather in other Southern provinces is mainly cloudy, sunny during the day, no rain at night; Northeast wind operates in the area at level 2 - 3.

The general temperature is forecast to be lowest in the East from 19 - 22 degrees Celsius, in the West from 22 - 24 degrees Celsius and highest from 30 - 33 degrees Celsius.
