(KGO) - With many impressive achievements from tournaments, athlete Nguyen Thi Diem My of Kien Giang was called up to the national Vovinam team in 2025.

On April 1, Kien Giang Sports Training and Competition Center announced that the Vietnam Sports Department has just decided to call athlete Nguyen Thi Diem My to the national Vovinam team in 2025.

Diem My and 21 athletes from provinces, cities and sectors nationwide participated in the national Vovinam team; focused on training at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center to prepare for international tournaments, especially the Vovinam tournament at the 33rd SEA Games in 2025 in Thailand.

In 2024, Diem My competed impressively, winning a series of gold and silver medals at the national Vovinam championships and the national Vovinam championship. Diem My was born in 2004 and is currently a member of the Kien Giang province Vovinam team...
