On the afternoon of November 19, speaking with a reporter from Giao Thong Newspaper, Ms. Nguyen Thi L (born in 1954, residing in Hien Quan commune, Tam Nong district, Phu Tho province), H's relative, shared that her child is in the hospital, her health is more stable than yesterday, but she still has a headache.

Ms. L recounted the incident of a group of students drowning and going missing according to H.

In the tragic drowning of a group of students in the Red River, passing through Hien Quan commune, H was the only survivor. According to Ms. L, although her health is more stable, when thinking about the incident, H is still shocked and bursts into tears. The family was only able to get a little information.

Recounting H's story, Mrs. L tearfully said that the group of 10 students went to the sandbank to play, 6 people went first, including H, 4 went after. The children were walking on the sandbank when they suddenly collapsed, not going swimming.

Seeing that, H ran to save his friend. When he brought a female friend close to the shore, the waves made her dizzy, the sand and the alluvial ground were steep, and the female friend had nothing to hold on to.

"My nephew tried to climb ashore, lay down on the sandbank and was exhausted. A while later, when he regained consciousness, he saw a group of four friends following behind, shouting for help," said Mrs. L.

Ms. L said she sympathizes with the families whose children are missing and hopes to find them soon.

"The children are all good, good students, and often come to my house to play. I'm worried that H misses her friends and is still haunted by the trauma," said Mrs. L.
