Scene of the incident
On July 28, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 7 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) said it was coordinating with professional units to clarify the case of a man jumping out of a car running on the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Highway.
At around 5:00 p.m. on July 27, a 7-seat car with a license plate in Ho Chi Minh City was traveling from the West to Ho Chi Minh City. In the car, Mr. BXH (37 years old, from Ho Chi Minh City) showed signs of losing control, suspected of being drunk.
When reaching Thu Thua commune, Tay Ninh province, Mr. H. suddenly demanded to get out of the car while it was running on the highway. The driver said he could not stop, so Mr. H. immediately jerked the steering wheel, forcing the driver to pull the car into the emergency lane. Mr. H. immediately opened the door, climbed over the guardrail, and jumped off the highway, lying flat on the grass by the roadside, screaming.
The incident caused traffic through the area to slow down, with many vehicles having to suddenly slow down to ensure safety.
Upon receiving the news, the Traffic Police force coordinated with Thu Thua Commune Police to quickly arrive at the scene to regulate traffic and take Mr. H. to the police station for questioning.
