BHG - At the National Conference to implement Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development, General Secretary To Lam emphasized the strategic message: "The private economy is not only a part of the economy, but needs to become one of the most important driving forces of the national economy."

This message not only affirms the increasingly important role of the private economic sector but also opens up opportunities for outstanding development in the context of deep integration. This is considered a golden time for the business community nationwide in general and businesses in the province in particular to promote internal strength, accelerate innovation towards modernity and sustainability.

The Provincial Business Association thoroughly grasps and implements Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development.
The Provincial Business Association thoroughly grasps and implements Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development.

Established in 2000 in Xin Man district, Gia Long Corporation is one of the pioneering enterprises operating in many fields, from agriculture, trade to tourism. With an average revenue of about 100 billion VND per year and creating stable jobs for over 150 employees, the company has affirmed its important role in local economic development.

Faced with the opportunities brought by Resolution 68, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Dung, General Director of Gia Long Corporation, LLC, expressed her expectations: “We really look forward to specific support policies from Resolution 68, such as tax exemption and reduction, land support, establishment of a fund for science, technology and innovation development. These are necessary incentives for businesses to dare to think, dare to do, invest in areas with higher added value, and at the same time improve product quality.”

Ms. Dung also frankly shared about the difficulties that businesses have encountered: “In the past, our business, like many other businesses in the province, encountered many difficulties in administrative procedures, operating costs and legal barriers. If the authorities at all levels are determined to implement the goal of reducing processing time, costs and business conditions as set by 2025, it will be a real boost for the business community.”

Sharing the same expectation, Mr. Truong Viet Anh, Director of Duc Minh Joint Stock Company - the management unit of Duc Minh General Hospital, highly appreciated the positive impact of Resolution 68 on the private enterprise system, especially in the healthcare sector which is in dire need of socialization: "Ha Giang currently has nearly 4,400 enterprises with a total registered capital of more than 38,000 billion VND. With the methodical and drastic implementation of Resolution 68, we believe that this will be a new breath of life, promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity. Practical policies will help businesses like us have more conditions to expand their scale, improve the quality of medical examination and treatment services, and meet the increasing health care needs of the people".

Mr. Viet Anh also mentioned the specificity of medical enterprises: "We hope that the support policy mechanism will be concretized quickly, especially in accessing preferential capital, reforming procedures for investing in medical equipment and building infrastructure, so that the private health sector can truly become an extension of the public health system."

As a “bridge” between businesses and the government, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Chairman of the Ha Giang Provincial Business Association, highly appreciated the private economic development orientation clearly stated in Resolution 68: “The breakthrough journey of Ha Giang businesses has officially begun. Close, specific and practical support policies will be an important catalyst, especially for small and medium enterprises and individual business households - which account for a large proportion in the province”. Mr. Thang also emphasized the role of localities in realizing policies: “We propose that local authorities at all levels need to work more closely with businesses. Establishing a one-stop mechanism, promoting digital transformation in handling administrative procedures, and supporting businesses in accessing capital, new technology, etc. will be prerequisites for businesses to develop sustainably”.

Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW is not only a “compass” in developing the private economy but also a call to action for the entire political system, the business community and local authorities at all levels. If implemented in a substantial and synchronous manner, this will be a major turning point for Vietnamese enterprises in general and Ha Giang enterprises in particular to rise strongly in the new era of development.
