On the afternoon of June 13, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training announced the 10th grade entrance exam scores for the 2025-2026 school year.
After announcing the exam scores, in the next few days, the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province will announce the admission scores to schools.
The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year is the first exam to be conducted according to the 2018 General Education Program with a new exam structure, closely following the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training , with high practicality and applicability.
This year, Nghe An province has more than 39,000 candidates registered to take the entrance exam to 69 public schools in the province. Meanwhile, the entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted has more than 1,700 candidates.

In 2025, candidates will take 3 subjects, including Math, Literature in 120 minutes and English in 60 minutes. Of which, there will be a written test for Math and Literature, and an objective test for English with 40 questions.
The score of the 10th grade entrance exam for Math and Literature is the sum of the component scores of each question in the exam. The exam score is given on a 10-point scale, rounded to the nearest 0.25.
Meanwhile, the score of the Foreign Language exam is the total score of all the questions in the exam, each question is worth 0.25 points. The three exams of Math, Literature, and English are all calculated with a coefficient of 1.
The admission score is the total score of the 3 exams and additional points for priority and incentive candidates. Admitted candidates must not have any exam with a score of 0.
Compared to last year, the number of candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year is about 4,000 less. Meanwhile, the enrollment quota for schools has not changed much compared to last year.

The top scorer in this year's 10th grade entrance exam in Nghe An is Nguyen Thi Bang Tam, a student at Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School, Do Luong district, with 29.25 points.
On the afternoon of June 13, right after Nghe An province announced the scores of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, the most outstanding candidates were also revealed with extremely outstanding scores.
Accordingly, the valedictorian of grade 10 in the province is Nguyen Thi Bang Tam, a student at Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School, Do Luong district, with 29.25 points (Literature score 9.5 points; English score 10 points; Math score 9.75 points).
The runner-up is Nguyen Tat An, a student at Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School, Do Luong district, with 29 points (9.5 points in Literature; 9.75 points in English and 9.75 points in Math).
The two students who ranked third in this year's exam both had a total score of 28.75 points and both studied at Bach Lieu Secondary School, Yen Thanh District. They were Phan Tat Tuan (Literature 9.25 points; English 9.5 points; Math 10 points) and Le Thi Quynh Trang (Literature 9.5 points; English 9.5 points; Math 9.75 points).
The Department ofEducation and Training's synthesis also shows that this year, the whole province had 52 English exams and 6 Math exams with a score of 10; in Literature, 4 candidates achieved the highest score of 9.75 points.
