In an outdoor space close to nature, the artists will together tell their emotional journey back home through music , through songs praising the beauty of Vietnam's nature and the love of Vietnamese people around the world.

The program “Steps Back” is a combination of music, visual theater and national cultural materials, creating an emotional artistic space, sending a message of love and connection: No matter where they are, Vietnamese people always carry in their hearts the image of their homeland.

According to Ambassador Nguyen Phu Binh, Chairman of the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese, Former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs , many countries in the world are facing serious consequences of climate change. Right in Vietnam, last year, super typhoon Yagi caused severe damage, leaving a profound warning about our living environment. The task of planting forests and protecting the environment is no longer the responsibility of an individual. It is the common mission of the whole nation, of each Vietnamese citizen, at home and abroad.

“We believe that the ‘Steps Back’ program will be a place for the Vietnamese community everywhere to join hands for a green Vietnam, a practical action that contributes to creating a healthy and sustainable living environment. Through this program, we hope to raise funds for long-term afforestation activities - not just planting trees today, but sowing hope for the future,” said Ambassador Nguyen Phu Binh.

With the message “Return to serve - Return to spread love,” the project hopes to be not only a geographical return, but also a return in soul, culture, identity and national spirit. This is a journey connecting overseas Vietnamese with their homeland, so that each step back will sow the green of hope, the green of humanity, the green of sustainability.

The organizers expect the program to become a journey of profound inspiration, promoting community initiatives, preserving national identity and joining hands to build a sustainable Vietnam in the new global context./.
