June 21st is an annual occasion for the whole society to honor and show gratitude to the team of journalists - the soldiers on the ideological and cultural front of the Party. This is also an occasion to look back and affirm the special role and position of the revolutionary press in the cause of building a national defense associated with a solid people's security posture.
The Provincial Military Command always identifies that propaganda and political and ideological education is one of the key tasks in building a local armed force that is strong in politics, ideology and organization. In particular, the press plays an important role as a bridge, contributing to the timely transmission of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to cadres, soldiers and people.
Over the years, the coordination between the Provincial Military Command and the central and local press agencies has become increasingly close and effective. News agencies and newspapers have accompanied the provincial armed forces on many fronts: from reflecting on training activities, combat readiness, building discipline, training discipline to widely propagating the emulation movement "Determination to Win", mass mobilization work, military rear policies and even good examples of good people and good deeds in the provincial armed forces... Especially, in political events, major holidays of the nation and the army, the press has always been the pioneer in spreading the spirit of emulation, patriotism and national pride. Many quality press works have contributed to raising awareness and strengthening the trust of cadres, soldiers and people in the leadership role of the Party, State and army. Many journalists have not been afraid of difficulties and hardships, sticking close to their units, eating, living and doing activities with the soldiers to most truthfully reflect the lives, thoughts, feelings and dedication of soldiers in peacetime.
In the coming time, to improve the effectiveness of propaganda coordination, the provincial armed forces will continue to proactively provide official information, expand forms of professional exchanges, and create favorable conditions for journalists and reporters to work at the unit. At the same time, it will closely coordinate with press agencies in orienting information, promptly combating and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints, contributing to maintaining the Party's ideological position in the army. Hopefully, press agencies will continue to accompany the provincial armed forces, join hands in building a strong national defense, contributing to firmly protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

In modern life, the press in general and Khanh Hoa Newspaper in particular still maintain their role as a reliable source of official information and an indispensable spiritual food for all classes in society, including the elderly. For the elderly, the press is not only a means of updating news but also helps connect with life and the world around them. Reading newspapers, listening to the radio or watching television helps the elderly maintain interaction with society, grasp all aspects of politics, economics , culture, society, and life, thereby feeling that they are still an important part of society. Currently, the whole province has 132,855 elderly people, this is a very important readership of Khanh Hoa Newspaper. Therefore, over the years, Khanh Hoa Newspaper has built and maintained specialized pages and columns on the elderly and reflected the activities of the elderly in the province. Thereby, contributing to encouraging and motivating the elderly to actively promote the role of the elderly as a shining example, exemplary in teaching the younger generation, children and grandchildren to study well, and build a prosperous and happy life.
In addition, Khanh Hoa Newspaper also regularly innovates content, form, develops multimedia, multi-platform to meet the needs of readers. In today's digital age, young people's access to the press has changed a lot compared to before. We mainly update information through digital platforms such as: Social networks, online newspapers, podcasts, or short news videos on YouTube, TikTok.
Nowadays, young people are often interested in issues that are close to their real lives, from learning opportunities, jobs, startups, to topics about the environment, education, new technology, and stories about kindness. However, long articles are often less attractive to us; young people often choose easy-to-access and easy-to-share forms of journalism, preferring to read short, vivid, highly interactive content, and creative forms of expression such as: Infographics, reels, podcasts... Therefore, in order to reach more young people, I think the press needs to innovate in the way it conveys information according to the above trends.
For Khanh Hoa Newspaper, I often read through the content shared by the newspaper on Facebook Fanpage and TikTok. This is a very effective way to proactively bring information to readers. Through Khanh Hoa Newspaper, I am also often quickly and accurately updated with information that interests me such as: Tourism events, cultural events taking place in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa... Khanh Hoa Newspaper has made many innovations and improved the quality of content; not only is it a news reporter, but it is also a companion, helping young people understand correctly, live beautifully and be more responsible towards society.
