(NLDO) – The price of SJC gold bars and gold rings has not stopped increasing following world prices on the 24th day of Tet.

On the morning of January 23, SJC Company listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at VND86.4 million/tael and the selling price at VND88.4 million/tael - an increase of VND400,000 compared to yesterday. In just 3 days, the price of gold bars jumped by about VND1.5 million per tael.

PNJ andACB banks simultaneously adjusted the price of SJC gold bars to a new high. This is the highest price of gold bars in the past 2 months.

Some other units such as Mi Hong Company sell gold bars at a lower price, around 87.8 million VND/tael; Eximbank and Sacombank trade gold bars at 86 million VND/tael for buying and 88 million VND/tael for selling.

Gold price continues to increase today for SJC gold bars

Similarly, the price of gold rings and jewelry of all kinds also continued. Accordingly, SJC company bought gold rings at 86.2 million VND/tael and sold at 87.9 million VND/tael - an increase of 200,000 VND compared to yesterday.

Both gold bar and gold ring prices have skyrocketed in recent days, following the world's upward trend.

In the international market, the price of gold today reached 2,753 USD/ounce, up 5 USD/ounce compared to the previous session. Within 3 days, the precious metal increased by about 55 USD/ounce.

Gold prices continued to increase today as the USD has not been able to break out again, the USD index on the international market is trading at 108 points.

Investors are turning to gold as a safe haven against the new economic policies of the US President, especially the tariffs expected to be applied to imported goods from Mexico, Canada and China...

The precious metal has been on a continuous rise to its highest level in the past 2.5 months. Gold prices are also heading towards the all-time peak of 2,790 USD/ounce set in November last year. Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 83.8 million VND/tael.
