Thousands of people jostle to admire the 'giant' cave made from 5,000 bamboo trees

The Bethlehem grotto was built by the parishioners of Van Hanh Cathedral Parish from 5,000 bamboo trees. This is one of the most 'giant' grottoes in Ha Tinh this Christmas season.

In recent days, people from everywhere have flocked to Thach Trung commune (Ha Tinh city) to admire the largest Bethlehem cave in Ha Tinh, made from 5,000 bamboo trees.

It is known that to complete this grotto, the parishioners in Van Hanh Cathedral Parish worked for about 2 months.

During Christmas, people from everywhere flocked to Van Hanh Cathedral Parish to admire the nativity scene during Christmas 2024.

This grotto was designed by parishioners themselves, 30m high, over 3,000m2 wide, located within the parish grounds.

To build this "giant" cave, the parishioners used 5,000 bamboo trees as the frame and tons of cement bags to create shapes that resemble real rocks.

For many years, Van Hanh Cathedral Parish has always designed and created the "biggest" grottos in Ha Tinh. This is also the destination of many people during the Christmas season.

Young people record images as souvenirs to welcome Christmas 2024.

The scenes are arranged interwoven, flexible movements, vivid sound and lighting systems.

The outside of the cave is decorated with colorful flashing lights and artificial snow machines, making visitors very excited.
