In the context of strong development of e-commerce along with concerns about product quality, transparency and marketing ethics, the program "Green Tick for Responsible E-commerce" was born, aiming to reshape ethical standards and responsibility in the entire Vietnamese e-commerce ecosystem.
This is a development step following the success of the "Responsible Green Tick" Program in the traditional retail system, implemented since March 2024 with the participation of 11 large distribution corporations and hundreds of manufacturing enterprises.
Expanding into e-commerce is Ho Chi Minh City's strong response to the urgent need to "restore consumer confidence and create a civilized, transparent, and fair digital space."

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade presented flowers to retail system units participating in the green tick of responsibility.
Mr. Bui Ta Hoang Vu, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City said: “Most of the retail chains in Ho Chi Minh City have participated responsibly to join hands in screening and supplying quality products to the market. Of course, these are initial successes, we still have to make great efforts to issue unified regulations, unify standards and regulations in the process of checking and announcing products”.
According to Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh - representative of Tik Tok Vietnam, preventing counterfeit and poor quality goods is not only the responsibility of manufacturers and e-commerce platforms but also the responsibility of consumers. Consumers should not compromise and be afraid to report counterfeit and fake goods on e-commerce platforms.
“Consumers on e-commerce platforms are given a huge amount of power by the platforms, which is that when they buy fake or poor quality goods, they should immediately report the incident to the platform. It only takes a few seconds.”
