We met Captain Hoang Xuan Kien, a teacher of the Department of Military Command, Army Officer School 1, while he was returning to his unit. Sweat soaked his uniform, but his face still radiated joy and pride. Captain Hoang Xuan Kien is one of 15 comrades honored to participate in guiding and training military command for military regions, army corps, and military branches throughout the army.
In the summer, the temperature rises, the rain and sunshine are erratic, and living conditions and training grounds are lacking. The weather is harsh, but receiving the attention of superiors and the love of people across the country is a great source of encouragement for officers and soldiers to excellently complete their assigned tasks.

To have determination, from the beginning, the Party Cell of the Department of Military Command identified two breakthroughs: Focusing on leadership in improving the quality of the teaching staff, meeting the requirements of regular teaching tasks and ad hoc tasks; at the same time, improving the quality of building a regular order, strictly following military discipline and state laws.
In addition to the political tasks of teaching and scientific research, the Department of Military Command has received important tasks assigned by the Ministry of National Defense and the State to train for the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country; train for the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Parade training requires high requirements. In addition to standard techniques, correct, even, strong and beautiful movements, it is necessary to maintain distance between blocks, ensure horizontal, vertical and diagonal rows are even, unified and stable, demonstrating the solemnity and power of the Army.
Having experience in parade training, Lieutenant Colonel Ho Sy Quang, Head of the Department of Military Command, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell said: "To maintain a uniform and beautiful shape requires discipline, seriousness and team spirit". Although he is principled at work, in real life he is very delicate, thoughtful, always encouraging, sharing and helping his comrades and teammates to progress together.
Sharing his profound memories, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ho Sy Quang expressed his pride in being one of the officers who directly trained and led the delegation of officers of the Vietnam People's Army to participate in the parade on Red Square (Russian Federation) on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism in the Great Patriotic War; leaving a beautiful impression of the solidarity of our Army and spreading the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers to international friends.
