MU and Juve discuss exchanging Sancho, Vlahovic

Juventus and MU are negotiating a player swap deal that could solve the problem related to both Dusan Vlahovic and Jadon Sancho.

MU has the opportunity to own Vlahovic this summer.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport , Juventus resumed negotiations with MU on a player exchange agreement between Vlahovic and Sancho. MU is willing to let Sancho go, while Juventus wants to liquidate Vlahovic. However, to complete the move to Turin, Sancho must agree to a pay cut.

Goal revealed that negotiations are expected to continue in the coming weeks. Juventus will try to convince Sancho to take a pay cut. In contrast, United need to consider Vlahovic's readiness to join Old Trafford.

The Italian club had previously been interested in Sancho but failed to reach an agreement. The former Borussia Dortmund star's agent has maintained contact with Juventus and the player also wants to move to Serie A. Both Sancho and Vlahovic are under contract with their respective clubs until 2026, but their futures are unclear.

Juventus are unwilling to meet Vlahovic's wage demands to extend his contract and are ready to let him leave this summer. Similarly, United are also looking to offload Sancho as the player is no longer in coach Ruben Amorim's plans.

A direct swap deal could help the two clubs balance their finances and avoid the worry of losing a player for free in 2026. In the 2024/25 season, Sancho played 42 times for Chelsea, scoring 5 goals and providing 10 assists, winning the Conference League. As for Vlahovic, he played 43 times for Juventus, scoring 16 goals and providing 5 assists.
