Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) will start construction of the UEH Nexus Campus Nha Trang on August 19. The project is one of 80 key national projects simultaneously started and inaugurated to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). This new training and research facility with the orientation of "A place for global scholars and knowledge to converge" is also among the group of 5 typical projects of Khanh Hoa province.
Along with 79 other key projects, the groundbreaking event of UEH Nexus Campus Nha Trang will be broadcast live on Khanh Hoa Television and rebroadcast on Vietnam National Television with solemn instructions, orientations and sharing from the Prime Minister , representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, and representatives of prestigious international scholars.
This is an urgent event, taking place in the context of Khanh Hoa setting a target of double-digit economic growth in the period of 2025-2030, focusing on 4 pillars including industry, energy, tourism - services and urban-construction; Along with 3 strategic breakthroughs: completing infrastructure, improving human resource quality and handling backlog projects, soon turning Khanh Hoa province into a centrally-governed city by 2030.
Project inspired by Cham architecture
UEH Nexus Campus has a training scale of 2,000 students, 90 working places for staff and lecturers and many areas for research, creativity and community connection. The dormitory area provides accommodation for 376 boarding students, creating a convenient and cohesive learning and living environment.
The project is inspired by Champa architecture, reflecting local culture and traditions, while inspiring pride in the generation of learners. The library building is designed with the symbol of a globe and a converging magnifying glass, where global knowledge converges locally and connects UEH generations with the world.
The main blocks are connected by a green carpet of hanging gardens running along the main facade, reminiscent of the Nha Trang coastline with white sand and golden sunshine. This design not only creates a visual highlight but also improves the climate, is environmentally friendly, and is associated with the green university model.
The scale of the items includes: administrative-research block, lecture hall block, functional block, multi-purpose block, dormitory block.
What professions does the branch focus on training?
