The measured rainfall was from 66.6mm to 91.6mm. Heavy rain caused 1 person to be swept away by floodwaters while crossing the spillway in Ninh Hoa village, Son Thuy commune.

At around 6:00 a.m. on August 26, Ms. TTH, born in 1998, San Diu ethnic group, residing in Ninh Hoa village, Son Thuy commune ( Tuyen Quang province) was going to work across the spillway when she was swept away by floodwaters.

Currently, the People's Committee of Son Thuy commune has mobilized functional forces of the Police and Military to coordinate with the rescue force and the family to search for the victim.
